FAITH TRANSFORMATION
Hebrews 11:1

Have you ever wondered why you do things that are not consistent with the things you say you believe? Even more important … what do you do about it? As we continue our series on faith, Pastor Mike gets very practical out of Hebrews 11 with these issues in a message he calls, “Faith Transformation.”

Sunday is Mother’s Day. As part of our celebration of Mother’s Day we will be presenting carnations.
A red carnation is in honor of one’s living mother, and a white carnation is in memory of one’s deceased mother.

Sunday is also Pentecost … please wear red to worship that day to remind us of God sending the Holy Spirit.

YOUTH LASER TAG EVENT

The youth will be playing laser tag on Sunday, June 1. Adult drivers are needed to transport the youth. They will be leaving the church following worship and returning approximately 9:00 p.m. If you would be willing to drive, please contact Nic Billman.

DATE CHANGED - WORSHIP BULLETIN COLLECTION

(This event had previously been scheduled for Monday, May 12.)
Because of the impossibility of storing our collection of Sunday worship service bulletins we are going to have them put by each calendar year on CDs. Therefore, on Monday evening, June 9, at seven o’clock in the library we are going to arrange the bulletins from January to December in each calendar year. If you have no other obligation that evening and like non-paying jobs, please come to the library to help us do this task. We need about fifteen people to spend an hour in order to accomplish this.

GRADUATE RECOGNITION

A long-standing tradition of this church has been to host a luncheon honoring our high school and college graduates and their families. Plans are currently being discussed for this event. If you know of someone from our church who is graduating, please provide that information to Linda in the church office as soon as possible.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
Scholarship applications are now available from the church office for anyone within the congregation who has an active connection to the church and plans to continue his or her education beyond high school.

Applications must be completed and dropped off at the church office before 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 23. No exceptions to the deadline will be made!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

will be held July 14-18 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. each evening.
This year’s theme is Power Lab: Discovering Jesus’ Miraculous Power.
All children ages 4-12 years are invited and encouraged to attend.
If you are interested in helping with this ministry there will be a form in the worship bulletin this week, or you may stop by the church office and pick up a form. If you have any questions, please contact Amanda Bistline.
