The Mission team has three major areas of focus to connect the congregation with Mission opportunities while it also serves as a sponsor to various individual mission needs as a funding source. Funding comes through regular donations made in the Mission Envelope that is taken up every second Sunday of the Month.
Mission to the Far Places of the Greater World is presently focused on developing a direct and evolving connection to a Christian Medical Mission to Bolivia. Also, our long standing connection to the Shoe Box mission provides an opportunity for aide the needy in far off places.
Mission to Judea and Samaria is represented in the projects we can connect with through our United Methodist connection to the Susquehanna Conference and Mission Central.
Mission to Jerusalem is the mission work that we can focus on locally.
While the team consists of a dozen regular members, meetings are always open to anyone in the congregation who has a heart for missions or a new idea.
